The Mahindra XUV700 has been consistently bringing in good sales numbers because of a variety of features and technologies on board and is considered one of the most advanced vehicles in its segment. The SUV has a futuristic look and is loaded with features like a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster enabled with a digital interface and smartphone connectivity. The ex-showroom prices start at Rs. 13.99 lakh and go all the way up to Rs. 26.99 lakh.

Recently launched Tata Curvv EV comes with two battery packs: a 45kWh pack for a 502km range and a larger 55kWh pack that stretches this to 585km. Fast charging is supported, with 150km top-up in 15 minutes and 10–80% taking 40 minutes on a 70kW charger.

The electric car of the Curvv EV develop 148bhp with the smaller pack and 165bhp with the larger pack, producing 215Nm of torque. It also boasts an acceleration time of 8.6 seconds to reach 100 kmph with multiple drive modes and regenerative braking for efficiency.

The next car on this list is the MG ZS EV. This green car maintains an elegant look and has a huge list of features. It gets a 50.3 kWh battery pack that delivers an electric-only range of approximately 461 kilometres on a full charge. The electric motor delivers 174 horsepower and 280 Nm of torque, making it sprint from 0 to 100 km per hour in 8.6 seconds. The ZS EV also features a 10.11-inch infotainment screen, leatherette upholstery and a high level of safety tech including Level 2 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

The Honda City e:HEV is the only hybrid vehicle in this list. Its combined (ICE+hybrid) mileage of over 27 kilometres a litre besides Honda SENSING advanced driver’s assistance systems (ADAS) for enhanced safety is notable.

At a starting ex-showroom price of Rs. 19 lakh, the City e:HEV comes with way more features than its competitors. If possible, stretch your budget a little to get the top-spec ZX trim.
